TROOPERS REQUEST ASSISTANCE IDENTIFYING THEFT SUSPECT


DSP News Release: Troopers Request Assistance Identifying Theft Suspect 

 

Location:

·         HH Gregg, 3040 Brandywine Parkway (Brandywine Town Center), Wilmington, DE

 

Date of Occurrence:

·         Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at 6:30 p.m.

 

Suspect:

·         Black male, 40-45 years of age, 6”0” tall, 200-220 lbs, large build. Last seen wearing blue windbreaker type jacket. (No further description available)

Resume:

North Wilmington-The Delaware State Police are requesting public assistance in identifying a suspect in connection with the theft of a laptop computer from the HH Gregg Appliances and Electronics at the Brandywine Town Center.

 

Troopers were contacted on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 in reference to an incident that occurred on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at approximately 6:30 p.m. The investigation revealed that the suspect entered the HH Gregg and defeated a security cable device attached to a Sony Vaio laptop valued at $1000.00.   The suspect then removed the laptop from display, placed in a shopping cart and fled the store.  The suspect is also responsible for the theft of 2 additional laptops within the same week from an HH Gregg located in Deptford, NJ.
