New Castle, DE- US Rt. 13 northbound at Llangollen Boulevard has been re-opened to traffic at this time.

This crash remains under investigation. Two injured parties have been removed from the scene and transported to the Christiana Hospital to be treated for non life threatening injuries.

DSP News Release:  Accident Closes Northbound Lanes of Rt. 13

Location: US Rt. 13 northbound at Llangollen Boulevard, New Castle, DE

Date and Time of Occurrence:  Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at 4:15 p.m.

Resume:  

New Castle, DE- The Delaware State Police are currently at the scene of a personal injury accident that has the northbound lanes of Rt. 13 closed at Llangollen Boulevard.

Initial information is that there is a dump truck and possibly two other vehicles involved in the crash.

Commuters are asked to find alternate means of travel around the crash scene.
