Wilmington- The Delaware State Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two male suspects who pick-pocketed a Wilmington man’s wallet at a Wilmington area grocery store earlier this week.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, May 24th at approximately 3:00 p.m. as a Wilmington man had just finished shopping for groceries at the Acme located in the 1300 block of Centerville Road, Wilmington. As the victim was pushing his shopping cart through the entrance/exit vestibule of the store, he had to stop due to a male suspect who was blocking his exit from the store. The victim advised troopers that the male suspect appeared to be picking up loose change from the floor and at one point, lifted the front of his shopping cart as if he was looking for change underneath of it. The victim further advised that this was when he noticed a second male suspect standing behind him in what he described to be very close. Shortly thereafter both suspects left the vestibule with one exiting the store, while the second re-entered the store. A short time later, the victim noticed that his wallet was missing from his pants pocket.
