DSP News Release: Rehoboth Cash Advance Business Robbed

Resume: Rehoboth- Thursday May 26th Delaware State Police investigated a robbery at the Cash Advance store located at 19470 Coastal Highway Rehoboth Delaware.
State Police were dispatched to the Cash Advance loan business around 8:30 a.m. where they contacted a 30 year old female employee who had just been assaulted. The investigation revealed the victim had just opened the business when she was approached from behind by the suspect.
The suspect struck the victim’s head with his hand causing her to fall to the ground. The suspect ordered the victim to stay down on the ground. While the victim was on the ground, the suspect entered the business and removed an undisclosed amount of United States Currency before fleeing the crime scene. As the suspect ran passed the victim, he once again assaulted the victim by kicking her in her side as she lay on the ground.
State Police detectives through undisclosed investigative means were able to identify the suspect who committed the robbery. State Police detectives currently have an arrest warrant for Olin J. Vickers-35 of Millsboro Delaware. Vickers was last seen wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and glasses. No additional clothing description is currently available. Vickers may also be driving or a passenger in a 1993 four-door light blue Lincoln Town Car displaying Delaware registration PC27200. (This vehicle is not registered to Vickers)
