DETECTIVES SEEK PUBLIC'S HELP IN IDENTIFYING BURGLARY SUSPECT


DSP News Release: Detectives Seek Public’s Help in Identifying Burglary Suspect

 

Location: Express Food Mart, 703 Pulaski Highway, Bear, DE

 

Dates of Occurrence:  Monday, March 28, 2011 at 12:40 a.m.

 

Suspect: White male (possibly Hispanic), last seen wearing a light colored knit hat, light colored hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, and dark shoes.

Bear- Delaware State Police burglary detectives are seeking the publics help in identifying the suspect in a business burglary that occurred in late March of this year.

 

The incident occurred on Monday, march 28, 2011 at approximately 12:40 a.m. as a male suspect used a piece of asphalt to shatter the entrance doors of the Express Food Mart located in the 700 block of Pulaski Highway in Bear, DE. The suspect then entered the business and proceeded to remove numerous cartons of Marlboro and Newport cigarettes from display cases and then fled from the business on foot.

 

Detectives are asking anyone who may recognize the suspect to contact the Delaware State Police Troop 2 burglary unit at 302-834-2630. Citizens may also provide a tip by texting keyword “DSP” plus your message to 274637 (CRIMES).  Tipsters may also provide information through lines maintained by Delaware Crime Stoppers at (800) TIP-3333.
