DSP News Release: State Police Probe Shooting

Resume: Dover-A 26 year old Camden Delaware man is in stable but critical condition after being shot early Saturday morning. The incident occurred in the unit block of Webbs Lane, in front of building “H” Autumn Run Apartment complex S/O Dover.
Prior to the Saturday shooting, there were reports of approximately 30-40 persons congregating in the apartment complex parking lot when the victim was shot. The 26 year old Camden man was struck in the neck by a small caliber round. State Police detectives are not disclosing the number times the victim was struck by gunfire or the caliber of ammunition used, in order to protect the integrity of the investigation.
State Police detectives are seeking suspect(s) and witness information regarding the shooting. Detectives are also attempting to identify a person or persons in a dark colored Chevrolet Caprice seen leaving the area just after the crime. Currently there is no additional suspect information available.
The victim was flown to Christian Hospital where he is being treated for a gunshot wound to his neck. The victim is listed in stable but guarded condition.
