State Troopers were summoned to the 700 block of Kersey Road Viola Delaware around 2:54 am after being contacted by the DNREC Officer.  When Troopers arrived on scene the DNREC Officer already had two male suspects in custody.

The DNREC Officer was on State of Delaware land in the 700 block of Kersey Road Viola, when he observed a vehicle drive on the property.  The DNREC Officer then approached a shed at the rear of the property and observed one suspect standing outside and the other presumably inside.

The DNREC Officer approached the shed and was able to detain Shawn A. Miller-21 of Dover and Joshua Bryant-19 of Wyoming until Troopers could arrive.  Once on scene Troopers discovered the duo had entered the shed owned by the State of Delaware and were attempting to steal a bag of aluminum cans.

Miller and Bryant were both charged with Burglary, Theft and Conspiracy.  Miller was additionally charged with illegally possessing Oxycodone within a small metal container.

Miller and Bryant following arraignment were both released on $3,000 and $2,000 unsecured bond respectively.
