DSP News Release:  State Police Searching for Assault Suspect

Resume:

Blades-Delaware State Police are attempting to locate Juan Gonzalez-Chital-26 of Seaford Delaware after investigating an assault complaint in Mobile Gardens Mobile Home Park just S/O Seaford Delaware. 

 

State Police Monday May 9, 2011 were called to the 25000 block of N. Parkway Drive for a domestic assault.  State Police learned during their investigation that Gonzalez-Chital was at the victim’s residence making house repairs when the 29 year old Blades woman received a text on her phone. 

 

Gonzalez-Chital opened the text to discover it was from another male which angered him.  Gonzalez-Chital initially engaged in a verbal argument that eventually turned violent. 

 

Gonzalez-Chital is alleged to have struck the victim numerous times with a metal rod on her forearms and wrist.  Gonzalez-Chital then fled the residence taking the victim’s blue 2000 Ford Explorer displaying Delaware registration.  

 

The 29 year old victim was treated and released from Nanticoke Hospital for cuts and bruises.  The 1 and 3 year old victims were unharmed however witnessed the attack by Gonzalez-Chital. 

 

Delaware State Police are currently seeking assistance in locating Juan Gonzalez-Chital and believe he may be in the Seaford and Blades area of Sussex County Delaware.
