DSP News Release: Burglary Detectives Seek Public’s Help

 

Location: Tobacco City, 4637 Ogletown-Stanton Road, Newark, DE

 

Dates of Occurrence: Thursday, May 5, 2011 at 3:50 a.m. 

 

Suspect: White male (no further description available)

Stanton- The Delaware State Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect who burglarized the Tobacco City store located in Stanton, DE early Thursday morning.

 

The incident occurred at approximately 3:50 a.m., May 5, as a male suspect smashed out the front door to the Tobacco City located in the 4600 block of Ogletown-Stanton Road, Newark. The suspect then entered the store and proceeded to remove numerous cartons of cigarettes. He then fled from the store and was believed to have entered into an unknown make and model vehicle, possibly a 2000 Honda Accord.

 

 

Detectives are asking anyone who may have any information in reference to this incident to contact burglary detectives at Troop 2 at 302-834-2630 ext. 211.
