ELLENDALE MAN HELD ON WEAPONS CHARGES

Resume: Millsboro-Delaware State Police have charged Jesse Drummond Jr-20 of Ellendale Delaware with 4 weapons charges stemming from a suspicious vehicle complaint Saturday afternoon.
Delaware State Police around 3:00 p.m. were called to the 25000 block of N. Berry Bramble Falls Drive Millsboro for suspected drug activity. When Troopers arrived they made contact with several individuals sitting inside a Buick LeSabre, one of which was Jesse Drummond Jr.
After obtaining permission to search the Buick LeSabre State Troopers located a Heckler and Koch .45 caliber handgun and a .22 caliber Ruger Long Rifle Mark II Target. The Ruger also appeared to have a noise suppression device attached to it making it a destructive weapon. The Buick LeSabre was registered to a family member of Drummond.
Delaware State Police charged Jesse Drummond Jr with 2 counts of carrying a concealed deadly weapon a firearm, possession of a weapon with a removed, obliterated or altered serial number and possession of a destructive weapon. Drummond was later remanded to Sussex Correctional Institute on $19,000 cash bond.
