UPDATED ACCIDENT INFORMATION SEASHORE HIGHWAY: Operator(s) and Vehicle(s):

Resume: Bridgeville-Delaware State Police Thursday afternoon responded to a two vehicle crash on Seashore Highway east of Bridgeville Delaware. The crash involved two vehicles, both traveling westbound on Seashore Highway.
A Dodge 1500 pickup driven by David Wilkinson of Milford was stopped on Seashore Highway waiting to turn left into a private business. The second vehicle a Isuzu Rodeo operated by Amy Znaniec was also traveling westbound on Seashore Highway behind Wilkinson. Znaniec failed to observe Wilkinson’s pickup truck and crashed into its rear.
State Police closed Seashore Highway for approximately 1 hour while the crash was being investigated and the injured parties treated.
All parties involved in the crash were transported to Nanticoke Hospital located in Seaford Delaware for minor non-life threatening injuries.
Delaware State Police charged Amy Znaniec the Isuzu operator with a traffic citation for Inattentive Driving. Znaniec was later released.
UPDATE ROAD CLOSURE: Seashore Highway has now been reopened

Resume: Bridgeville-Delaware State Police have temporarily closed Seashore Highway in the area of Elmer’s Market east of Bridgeville. Elmer’s Market is located at 13257 Seashore Highway Bridgeville.
State Police are investigating a traffic crash involving injuries to multiple persons.
Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes and also to expect delays on Seashore Highway. A more comprehensive release will be prepared as soon as information becomes available. |
