Smyrna-Yesterday March 15^th Delaware State Police Kent County Drug unit concluded a three month investigation involving Heroin distribution in the Magnolia community of Meadowbrook Acres. 

Delaware State Police Kent County Drug Unit and the Special Operations Response Team conducted a traffic stop of a Chevrolet Venture mini-van on DuPont Parkway Smyrna Delaware occupied by William H. Hicks. 

A search of the Chevrolet mini-van resulted in the seizure of 406 bags of Heroin or the equivalent of 12.18 grams of Heroin. 

William H. Hicks was charged with Trafficking Heroin, Possession with the Intent to Deliver Heroin and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Hicks after being arraigned was remanded to the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in lieu of $250,000 cash bond. 

A press release was also prepared today related to the arrest of William H. Hicks for Attempted Murder First Degree.  The attempted murder incident occurred on December 26^th, 201o. 

     William H. Hicks
