DSP News Release: Troopers Search for Man After He Exposes Himself

Location: Naamans Road east of Foulk Road, Wilmington, DE

Date and Time of Occurrence:  Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at 12:30 p.m.

Suspect:  White male, 40-49 years of age with a large build and brown hair. He was last seen operating a newer model grey pick up truck (possibly a Chevrolet Silverado).

Victims:

-14 year old Wilmington, DE female

-14 year old Garnet Valley, PA female

-16 year old Garnet Valley, PA female

Wilmington- The Delaware State Police are searching for a male subject after he exposed himself to three female juveniles as they walked along Naamans Road early this afternoon.

The incident occurred at approximately 12:30 p.m. today as three juvenile female victims had just left a neighborhood pool and were walking westbound along Naamans Road approaching Foulk Road in Wilmington. As the victims approached the F and N Shopping Center, located at the intersection of Foulk and Naamans Roads, they noticed a male subject in a grey pick up on Naamans Road whistling and snapping his fingers at them in an attempt to get their attention. When the victims turned towards the man he raised himself off of the seat of his vehicle exposing his genitalia to the victims. The three victims then ran to a nearby store in the shopping center where they advised store employees of what had occurred. The victims then contacted 9-1-1. The male suspect fled the area.
