DSP News Release: Pedestrian Injured in Mid Morning Crash

Resume:

Rehoboth-Delaware State Police today investigated a pedestrian crash on the Service Road located just N/O Hebron Road Rehoboth Delaware around 9:55 am.

The crash occurred when Fidel M. Chavez of Georgetown Delaware ran eastbound across the service road in front of a 2006 Ford Econoline van.  The van driven by Keller Camarco of Rehoboth Beach was traveling southbound on the Service Road prior to the crash. 

Chavez was taken to Beebe Hospital and is being treated for head and leg injuries.  Camarco was not injured in the crash.

Delaware State Police did not cite Camarco.
