DSP News Release: Teenager Robbed, New Castle

 

Location:

·         Field area of Eisenberg Elementary School, 27 Landers Lane, New Castle, DE

 

Date of Occurrence:  

·         Monday, June 20, 2011 at 10:57 p.m.

 

Victim(s):

·         15 year old male

 

Suspect:

·         Black male, 5’09”-6’01” tall, 30-40 years of age, 185 lbs, average build.  He was last seen wearing all dark clothing, dark baseball cap, and was armed with an unknown type handgun.

 

 

Resume:

New Castle-The Delaware State Police are currently investigating the robbery of a 15 year old male that occurred late last night in a field opposite Landers Lane, on the property of Eisenberg Elementary School.

 

The incident occurred at approximately 10:57 p.m. as the 15 year old victim was walking on his way to a local convenience store and was cutting through the Eisenberg Elementary School property located at 27 Landers Lane, New Castle, DE.  The victim stated that he was tackled from behind by the suspect.   The suspect then held the victim down and displayed an unknown type handgun, demanding the victim’s property.  The victim complied and the suspect fled on foot from the area.  The victim was not injured.
