Resume:

Milford-Delaware State Police have arrested Stanley O. Taylor-55 of Lincoln Delaware for Rape and numerous other sex related crimes.  The alleged incident is believed to have started as far back as January of 2010 at a residence on Slaughter Beach Road Milford Delaware. 

 

State Police detectives Saturday June 4th were contacted after the victims came forward with information surrounding the crime.  The investigation revealed the sexual assaults occurred while at the victim’s residence, alone inside with Taylor.  Taylor was supposed to watch over the victims while their parents performed household errands.  Taylor is an acquaintance of the family. 

 

Detectives and employees of the Child Advocacy Center during their investigation discovered Taylor initiated inappropriate sexual contact with the victims numerous times as well as photographing them. 

 

State Police detectives early Sunday morning executed a search warrant at the residence of Taylor and seized computer and photographic devices along with a .22 caliber long gun. 

 

Taylor a Registered Tier II Sex Offender was charged with Rape First and Second degree, Sex Offender Unlawful Sexual Conduct, Sexual Exploitation of a Child and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.  Taylor after arraignment was remanded to the Sussex Correctional Institute in lieu of $492,000 cash bond.
