DSP News Release:  Troopers on Scene of Two Vehicle Crash on Interstate

Location: Northbound I-95 south of DE Rt. 141, Newport, DE

Date of Occurrence:  Friday, July 29, 2011 at 11:40 a.m.

Resume:   

Newport- The Delaware State Police are currently investigating a two car personal injury accident on I-95 near Newport.

Initial information is that the crash involves two vehicles, one which overturned, trapping the occupants. EMS is on the scene attempting to free the trapped subjects. The two left hand lanes of northbound I-95 are currently closed and commuters are asked to seek alternate means of travel.
