Flushing New York Woman Dies in Crash

Resume Update: Harrington-Friday July 29, 2011 Delaware State Police investigated a single vehicle crash on US 13 approximately 1 mile N/O Delaware Avenue Harrington Delaware.
A 2007 Toyota Camry driven by Michael J. Campbell-80 of Flushing New York was traveling southbound when his vehicle veered off the west edge of the roadway.
The Toyota Camry struck a utility pole and overturned. Campbell’s wife who was the right front seat passenger died at the scene from injuries sustained in the crash. Michael Campbell was transported to Milford Memorial Hospital and is currently being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
All occupants were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. Delaware State Police are attempting to determine if fatigue may have played a factor in the crash.

Resume: Harrington-Delaware State Police is currently on scene of a fatal motor vehicle crash on US 13 southbound in the area of Delaware Avenue just N/O the Harrington city limits.
The crash was reported around 7:27 a.m. and preliminary indications suggest it is a single vehicle crash involving 1 fatality.
Southbound US 13 traffic is currently being diverted onto Hopkins Cemetery Road and routed back through the Town of Harrington. Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes and expect long delays.
A more detailed released will be disseminated as soon as more information becomes available.
