DSP News Release: State Police Seek to Identify Robbery Suspects

Resume: Wilmington S/O Elsmere town limits-Delaware State Police Criminal Investigative Unit is attempting to identify suspects in a July 1st robbery that occurred in the parking lot of El Pique Restaurant.
The robbery happened just after 10 pm as the victim was walking out of El Pique Restaurant. The investigation revealed that 3 Hispanic males followed the victim from the restaurant into the parking lot.
One of the suspects brandished a handgun and demanded cash. The suspects then assaulted the victim took his money and fled in a newer model white BMW.
The suspects were described as 3 Hispanic males all between 5’04” and 5’07”, weighing 150-160 lbs. Two suspects were wearing white shirts and black pants while the third suspect was wearing a checked shirt and black pants.
