Resume: Milford-Delaware State Police Tuesday July 5th charged Brandon C. Robinson-22 of Dover with several counts of vehicular assault 1st degree, DUI, driving while suspended and speeding following an early morning crash.
Robinson was observed around 1:13 a.m. this morning by Delaware State Police traveling above the posted speed limit of 55 MPH. Robinson was traveling northbound on Coastal Highway S/O Johnson Road Milford Delaware.
The Trooper was initially traveling southbound on Coastal Highway before turning around to catch up to Robinson. The Trooper then observed that Robinson’s vehicle had driven into the median of Coastal Highway and sustained significant damage.
All occupants of the Honda were injured in the crash, two of which were transported to Christiana Hospital by helicopter, while Robinson and a 22 year old Felton man were taken to Milford Memorial Hospital. Robinson and the 22 year old Felton man were treated and released for unspecified injuries. The condition of the 21 year old Wilmington man and 23 year old Dover man is not currently known.
Robinson was arraigned on vehicular assault, DUI, driving while suspended and speeding charges and remanded to Sussex Correctional Institute in lieu of $16,250 secured bond. |
