Resume:

Lincoln-On Friday January 28, 2011 as part of an on-going investigation into illegal drug distribution the Delaware State Police Sussex Drug Unit and Sussex County Governor’s Task Force executed two drug search warrants at two different locations in Lincoln Delaware. 

 

The search warrants were executed at a residence in the 18000 block of Johnson Road and 8600 block of First Born Church Road Lincoln Delaware.  Delaware State Police Sussex Drug Unit with the assistance of the Delaware State Police Special Operations Response Team, Milford Police Department and Drug Enforcement Agency Task Force conducted searches at the aforementioned locations. 

 

As a result of the search Delaware State Police arrested seven individuals in connection to illegal drug activities.  Located at the Johnson Road residence were Courtland Johnson and Stephanie Chandler of Lincoln.  Upon searching the Johnson Road residence Delaware State Police were able to recover approximately 6 ½ grams of cocaine, 236 Oxycodone pills, over $1,700 United States Currency and a 9mm semi-automatic pistol. 

 

During the search of the First Born Church Road residence the following individuals were located; Calvin Sheppard, William B. Lewis, Megan Jones and Evelin Herrera.  A search of this residence resulted in the seizure of approximately 3.2 grams of cocaine, Suboxone and $700.00 United States Currency. 

 

Leslie Caraballo of Milton was arrested in the area of Walgreen’s College Park Lane Georgetown Delaware.  Caraballo was charged with 1 count of Criminal Solicitation for attempting to illegally purchase a controlled narcotic substance via a cellular phone. 

 

Courtland Johnson, Stephanie Chandler, Calvin Sheppard, Megan Jones and Evelin Herrera were charged and remanded to either the Sussex Correctional Institute or Women’s Correctional Institute in lieu of bond.   Williams B. Lewis and Leslie Caraballo were released on unsecured bond.
