DETECTIVES PROBE THE ROBBERY OF WILMINGTON BANK

DSP News Release: Detectives Probe the Robbery of Wilmington Bank
Location: TD Bank, 2502 Marsh Road, Wilmington, DE
Date of Occurrence: Thursday, January 27, 2011 at 7:40 p.m.
Victims:
-22 year old Claymont woman -49 year old Wilmington man -21 year old Wilmington woman -23 year old Marcus Hook woman
Suspects:
Suspect #1: Black male, 20-35 years of age, 5’11”-6’01” tall, with a goatee or beard. He was last seen wearing a green and grey striped hooded sweatshirt, sweatpants, and a black ski mask. He was also armed with an automatic firearm.
Suspect #2: Black male, 6’00”-6’04” tall, large build. He was last seen wearing a black zip up type hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, and a face mask. He was also armed with a revolver.
Resume: Wilmington- Delaware State Police detectives are currently investigating the robbery of the TD Bank located in north Wilmington that occurred yesterday evening.
Detectives advised that at approximately 7:40 p.m. two male suspects entered the bank branch located at 2502 Marsh Road, Wilmington, and displayed weapons. One of the suspects forced several of employees of the bank into the drive thru teller area as the second suspect demanded money from a teller. The teller complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash to the suspect. Both suspects then fled from the bank in an unknown direction. There were no injuries.
