DETECTIVES SEEK PUBLIC'S HELP IN IDENTIFYING ROBBERY SUSPECT


 

DSP News Release: Detectives Seek Public’s Help in Identifying Robbery Suspect

 

Location:  Dunkin Donuts, 4637 Stanton-Ogletown Road, Newark, DE

 

Date of Occurrence:  Friday, January 7, 2011 at 12:15 a.m.

 

Victim: Unknown store employee

 

Suspect:  Black male, 25-35 years of age, 5’07” tall with a heavy build and mustache. He was last seen wearing a dark leather jacket, black knit hat, sunglasses, light colored jeans, and black shoes.

 

Resume:  

Newark- Delaware State Police detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect who robbed the Dunkin Donuts located in Newark earlier this month.

 

The incident occurred as a male suspect entered the store located in the 4600 block of Stanton-Ogletown Road, Newark, at approximately 12:15 a.m. on January 7. The suspect walked to the rear of the store where he located a store employee. He then displayed a dark colored long barreled handgun and forced the employee to the front sales counter area. The suspect demanded that the employee open the register, at which time the he removed an undisclosed amount of cash. He then fled from the store and was last seen walking in an eastbound direction. The employee was not injured.
