Resume: Lincoln-Thursday January 20, 2011 Delaware State Police investigated a reckless endangering complaint in the 11000 block of Windmill Lane Lincoln Delaware.
Delaware State Police contacted two officers from the Delaware Department of Corrections Probation and Parole regarding the incident which occurred around 11:53 a.m. Delaware State Police during the course of their investigation learned that the Department of Corrections was at the residence of a probationer performing a Probation Check when they encountered Timothy C. Duval-42 also of Lincoln.
Duval began acting in a manor which raised the suspicion of the Probation Officers. Probation and Parole Officers attempted to detain and identify Duval for investigative purposes. Duval began to struggle with the Probation and Parole Officers and subsequently fled out of the residence.
Duval then entered a Jeep Cherokee and started the engine. Duval refused to exit the Jeep and drove toward the Probation and Parole Officers placing them at risk. Duval next drove the Jeep into a tree which disabled his vehicle.
Duval was taken into custody and the vehicle which he was in was searched. Found inside the Jeep was a candy container having approximately 30 Vicodin pills.
Delaware State Police charged Duval with Reckless Endangering, Drug and other crimes related to the incident.
