On January 17, 2011, Lynique Crummell, 21, turned herself in at Delaware State Police Troop 1. Crummell was arrested for one count each of Assault 1^st degree, Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. She was arraigned at JP Court 11 and then committed to the Baylor Correctional center for lack of $40,500.00 secured bail.

Claymont-Saturday January 15, 2011 Delaware State Police investigated an assault which occurred at the Tri-State Mall on Naamans Road Claymont Delaware. 

Delaware State Police learned the assault occurred around 8:09 p.m.   The altercation was between a 20 year old Wilmington woman and 21 year old Lynique Crummell of Chester Pennsylvania.  The investigation revealed that the victim and another individual went to the mall in order to pick up Crummell and 1 month old son.  While at the entrance to the mall Crummell and the 20 year old victim became involved in a verbal altercation. 

During the altercation Crummell began striking the victim about the face with her fist.  The victim suddenly discovered she was bleeding from the face.  Crummell is alleged to have had a razor blade in her hand when she was striking the victim. 

The infant victim was present during the altercation however was not injured. 

The 20 year old victim was transported to Wilmington Hospital for numerous facial lacerations.  

Delaware State Police prepared an arrest warrant for Lynique Crummell and are currently seeking her whereabouts.  Delaware State Police is asking citizens to contact police it Crummell is seen.  Callers may remain anonymous.
