DSP News Release:  State Police Investigating Seaford Sexual Assault

Suspect(s):  

• White male, 5’10”-5’11”, wearing dark jeans, boots, hands had protruding veins, dirty complexion. 

Resume:

Seaford-Delaware State Police on Wednesday January 19, 2011 were made aware of a sexual assault which occurred on Atlanta Road Seaford Delaware. 

Delaware State Police detectives learned the sexual assault occurred on Monday January 17, 2011 at the victim’s residence.  The victim was home alone at the time of the sexual assault.  The victim exited her bathroom and walked into the living room of her house to discover the front door was open. 

The victim returned to her bedroom to continue dressing when she was accosted from behind by white male suspect.  The victim then ran from the suspect and attempted to secure a bedroom door.  The suspect was able to push open the bedroom door and tossed the victim onto a bed. 

A struggle ensued between the victim and suspect before the victim was sexually assaulted.  The suspect following the sexual assault fled the residence.
