DSP News Release: Mississippi Woman Wanted On Burglary Charge

  • 68 year old Millsboro man

  • Jennifer Lynn Robbins-49 Columbia, MS

  • Identity Theft
  • 3 counts Theft Under $1,500 Where a Victim is 62 yrs of Age or Older
  • Attempted Theft Under $1,500
  • 2 counts Forgery Second Degree

 

Resume:

Long Neck-Delaware State Police on October 28, 2010 investigated a burglary to a residence which occurred on Joann Drive in the development of Mariner’s Cove Long Neck Delaware.  The burglary is believed to have occurred between October 27th and October 28, 2010. 

 

During the course of the burglary the suspect later discovered to be Jennifer Lynn Robbins-49 of Columbia Mississippi entered the victim’s residence and while inside removed three bank checks. 

 

Delaware State Police later discovered that Robbins cashed one of the checks in the amount of $325.00 at the Smyrna Delaware branch of Wilmington Trust.  Robbins then attempted to cash a second check in the amount of $955.00 at both the Harrington and Milford branches of Wilmington Trust however she was unsuccessful. 

 

Delaware State Police also learned that Robbins used her Mississippi driver’s license and social security card when attempting to cash the checks which assisted in identifying Robbins. 

 

Delaware State Police also obtained arrest warrants for Robbins consisting of Burglary, Theft and Forgery charges.  State Police is asking anyone who knows the whereabouts of Jennifer Lynn Robbins to contacted police.  Callers may remain anonymous.
