UPDATE ARREST OF BURGLARY SUSPECT Defendant and Bond Information:
Resume Update: Dover/Felton/Hartly/Camden-Wyoming/Magnolia Sunday January 16, 2011 Delaware State Police arrested Daniel C. Buckson-25 of Newark Delaware. Buckson was apprehended without incident and charged with 35 counts including Burglary, Theft, Criminal Mischief, Theft of Firearms, Conspiracy and other related crimes.
Buckson was incarcerated into James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on $42,000 secured bond. Released Monday January 17, 2011 ==================================

Resume: Dover/Felton/Hartly/Camden-Wyoming/Magnolia Delaware State Police have been investigating a series of burglaries in 5 different areas of Kent County Delaware. Delaware State Police investigated 10 different burglaries from December 2010 through January 2011 which three men have been suspected of committing.
Delaware State Police through the course of their criminal investigation have been able to link three suspects to either some or all the burglaries throughout Kent County. Delaware State Police were able to link Daniel C. Buckson-25 of Newark, Roberto Cherricks-20 of Dover and Jonathan L. Gerres-27 Magnolia to numerous burglaries. Delaware State Police believe all were associates at different times when committing these burglaries.
The victim in the burglaries had their residence forcibly entered then once inside the suspect are alleged to have stolen jewelry, video game systems, firearms ,televisions and other electronic equipment.
Delaware State Police already have in custody Jonathan Gerres who was incarcerated on a burglary arrest stemming from a burglary which occurred Thursday January 13, 2011. During this burglary Delaware State Troopers responding to the scene observed a person fitting the description provided by the 86 year old Dover woman. Delaware State Police stopped the suspicious person and after confirming the person in custody was in fact involved in the incident he was held and later charged with Attempted Burglary. The person detained is Jonathan Gerres-27 of Magnolia Delaware.
Delaware State Police through the course of their investigation learned that Jonathan Gerres and Matthew D. Hughes-24 of Dover drove to the victim’s residence in order to commit a burglary. Once at the victim’s house Gerres went to the rear of the residence and began kicking the door. Gerres after kicking the door suddenly stopped and fled from the residence presumably scared that he had been observed committing the crime.
Delaware State Police Saturday January 15, 2011 apprehended and charged a second suspect Roberto Cherricks; with burglary and related crimes. Cherricks was presented before Justice of the Peace Court 7 and remanded to James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on $24,500 secured bond.
Delaware State Police are currently attempting to locate a third person Daniel C. Buckson who is wanted in connection to all 10 burglaries.
