Dover-Delaware State Police executed a search warrant Monday January 10, 2011 at the residence of Tevin R. Perry-19 of Dover Delaware.   The search warrant stemmed from a home invasion which occurred January 4, 2011. 

The home invasion robbery occurred shortly after 2 p.m. in the afternoon.

Delaware State Police learned that a black male suspect forced entry into the victim’s residence and confronted a 52 year old Dover man.  The suspect displayed a shotgun and demanded money and prescription medication.  The wheelchair bound victim handed the suspect an undisclosed amount of money and prescription medication.  Following the robbery the suspect then fled in a south/east direction from the victim’s home. 

Delaware State Police through the help of a concerned citizen was able to link Tevin Perry to the home invasion on January 4, 2011.  At the time of the search warrant Delaware State Police Special Operations Response Team located Perry inside his residence and he was taken into custody without incident. 

Delaware State Police charged Perry with Robbery First Degree and related charges.  Perry is being held at James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on $80,000 secured bond.

• Black male 6’00” 160 lbs slender build wearing blue hooded sweatshirt, black pants and a bandana NFD.

Dover-Delaware State Police Tuesday January 4, 2011 responded to a home invasion in the 300 block of Norway Drive (Pinewood Acres MHP) Dover.  The home invasion robbery occurred shortly after 2 p.m. in the afternoon. 

Delaware State Police learned that a black male suspect forced entry into the victim’s residence and confronted a 52 year old Dover man.  The suspect displayed a shotgun and demanded money and prescription medication. 

The suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of United States Currency and prescription medication then fled in a south/east direction from the victim’s home. 

Delaware State Police is searching for a Black male, 6’00”, 160 lbs slender build wearing blue hooded sweatshirt, black pants and a bandana NFD.  Anyone who has information concerning this robbery is asked to contact Delaware State Police.  Callers may remain anonymous.
