DSP News Release: Troopers Seek Publics Help in Locating Hit and Run Driver
Location: New Linden Hill Road at Chadd Road, Newark, DE
Date of Occurrence: Thursday, January 06, 2011 at 3:55 p.m.
Victim: 17 year old Newark, DE youth
Suspect Vehicle: White newer model Ford Mustang

Newark- The Delaware State Police are looking for the driver of a vehicle which struck a 17 year old Newark youth this afternoon in Newark.
The incident occurred at approximately 3:55 p.m. this afternoon as the victim was standing at the entrance of the Polly Drummond Shopping Center after being dropped off by a school bus in the parking lot. The victim was then struck by a newer model Ford Mustang that was attempting to make a left hand turn from the parking lot onto eastbound Linden Hill Road. The victim was dragged for a short distance after being struck. The Mustang did not stop and was last seen traveling on New Linden Hill Road. The victim was transported by private vehicle to the Limestone Medical Center where he was treated for multiple injuries.
