Resume: Georgetown-Delaware State Police is currently searching for Charles E. Harkins Jr-42 of Milford Delaware following an investigation into scrap metal theft.
Delaware State Police December 2nd of last year investigated a theft of mechanical joint fittings and other assorted metals. Some of the metals stolen are heavy steal used in water and underground sewers. An estimated $6,000 worth of metal was stolen from Daisey Construction.
An employee of Daisey Construction located some of these items at an area salvage facility and upon further investigation it was discovered they were sold unlawfully by Charles E. Harkins Jr.
Delaware State Police has obtained an arrest warrant for Harkins consisting of Theft Greater then $1,500, Theft by False Pretense under $1,500, Falsifying Business Records and Conspiracy Third Degree.
