Frederica-Delaware State Police Financial Crimes unit was contacted by a representative of the Frederica Senior Center regarding unauthorized purchases made with the Senior Center’s bank credit cards. 

 

Delaware State Police learned that board members became aware of unauthorized purchases made by Diane Schrock-55 of Greenwood Delaware which dated back to July of 2006.  Schrock the Frederica Senior Center activities director is alleged to have made personal purchases with the Senior Center’s credit cards and would also receive money from its members for activities trips; however she would never deposit the money into the Senior Center bank account. 

 

Schrock is alleged to have used the credit cards and receive monies from members which amounted to approximately $21,399.00.  Delaware State Police Wednesday January 5, 2010 arrested Schrock on 64 charges related to theft and Unlawful Use of a Credit Card.  Schrock was later released on $39,000 unsecured bond.
