New Castle-Delaware State Police drug unit Tuesday February 22 arrested Jonathan Collins-22 of Wildfire Lane New Castle for trafficking cocaine and a weapons charge following an investigation into drug distribution. 

Collins was apprehended inside his New Castle home by State Police at the time of the search.  A subsequent search of the residence by investigators resulted in the seizure of over 50 grams of cocaine, drug paraphernalia and a Remington 870 12-gauge shotgun.

Collins was arraigned and released after posting $72,000 secured bond.
