Resume: Smyrna/Clayton-Delaware State Police have charged a Smyrna Delaware man following an investigation into an alleged burglary and assault that occurred between October 2009 and January 2011. The incidents were reported to State Police in January of this year.
James S. Resh Jr. of Smyrna is charged with 8 crimes related to burglary, assault and unlawful imprisonment that occurred at the victim’s Smyrna/ Clayton residences. (The victim lived at a different location during each assault.) The investigation revealed Resh, an acquaintance to the victim unlawfully entered her residence on two different occasions committing inappropriate acts against the 33 year old Clayton woman.
Resh was arraigned yesterday evening February 24th on 8 criminal offenses and released after he posted $46,000 secured bond.
