TROOPERS INVESTIGATE ROBBERY OF ARTISANS' BANK


DSP News Release:  Troopers Investigate Robbery of Artisans’ Bank

 

Location: Artisans’ Bank 1706 Marsh Road Wilmington, DE

 

Date of Occurrence:   Thursday, February 17, 2011 at 2:26 p.m.

 

Victim:  Unidentified Bank Employee

 

Suspect:  Black Male, 30-35 years of age, 5’08” tall, medium build.  He was last seen wearing an olive green jacket, black t-shirt, dark pants, and green baseball cap.

Wilmington-Delaware State Police Robbery Detectives are investigating the robbery of the Artisan’s Bank branch in North Wilmington that occurred this afternoon.

 

The incident occurred as a male suspect entered the bank located at 1706 Marsh Road, Wilmington.  The suspect approached the teller, presented a demand note and implied that he had a weapon.   The suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of money and fled the bank on foot through the shopping center.
