THREE CHARGED IN SUSSEX COUNTY BURGLARIES

Resume: Angola, Longneck and Oak Orchard Communities-In recent weeks Delaware State Police detectives have charged a number of persons responsible for committing multiple burglaries throughout Sussex County Delaware.
On Friday February 11, 2011 Delaware State Police detectives arrested three more persons responsible for committing 65 burglaries. Delaware State Police have charged Steven R. Horsey-21 of Lewes, Kevin M. Harrison-21 of Millsboro and Kristin F. Gray-21 of Harbeson for a total of 463 criminal offenses related to burglary, theft, conspiracy, possession of burglar tools, criminal mischief and theft of firearms.
Delaware State Police during the course of their investigations developed Steven R. Horsey as a person of interest in committing these burglaries. Delaware State Police additionally learned that Horsey has pawned stolen items at Rehoboth Beach area pawn shops.
Friday February 11th Delaware State Police received information that Horsey, Harrison and Gray were at a Rehoboth Beach pawn shop reportedly attempting to pawn merchandise from a recent burglary in the Mariner’s Cove Development.
Delaware State Police solicited the response of Rehoboth Beach Police Department who were able to detain the three suspects until Troopers could arrive. When State Police detectives arrived at the pawn shop Horsey, Harrison and Gray were all transported to Troop 4 in Georgetown and interviewed.
State Police detectives linked the trio to 65 burglaries in Angola, Longneck and Oak Orchard communities. The more specific communities affected are Angola Neck, Angola Crest, Longneck Village, Leisure Point MHP, Pot-Nets Creekside, Mariners Cove MHP, Massey"s Landing MHP, and the Riverdale section of Oak Orchard.
Horsey was arraigned and committed to Sussex Correctional Institute on $257, 500 secured bond. Harrison was incarcerated on $227,500 secured bond into Sussex Correctional Institute. Gray was remanded to the Women’s Correctional Institute in lieu of $28,000 cash bail.
