Resume: Millsboro-Sunday February 6, 2011 Delaware State Police charged a Millsboro man following a domestic altercation at his residence. State Police responded to the 26000 block of John J. Williams Highway Millsboro after receiving a 911 call around 6:50 p.m.
When Delaware State Police arrived they took Byron L. Wright into custody without incident. Delaware State Police learned during the investigation that Wright had an argument with a 33 year old relative then assaulted her, by striking her in the mouth. The victim did not require medical treatment.
The victim then fled to a nearby residence for assistance. The Good Samaritan a 39 year old man (victim 2) and second individual (a non-victim) went to Wright’s residence to investigate. When the 39 year old victim arrived an argument ensued between him and Wright. Wright then briefly re-entered his residence however when he returned had a 20 gauge shotgun in his possession. Wright is alleged to have pointed the shotgun at the 39 year old victim and threaten bodily harm.
Wright was taken into custody and charged with Aggravated Menacing, Assault and related charges. Wright is being held at Sussex Correctional Institute in lieu of $10,500 cash bond.
