ONE CHARGED TWO SOUGHT IN FREDERICA GUN INCIDENT

Resume: Frederica-Delaware State Police Wednesday February 2, 2011 arrested a Felton man following an altercation with a 23 year old Frederica man involving a gun. The incident occurred on the unit block of Jackson Street Frederica Delaware around 5:37 p.m.
Delaware State Police responded to a “shots fired” complaint on Jackson Street where gun fired was reported to have erupted. Delaware State Police while investigating the incident learned that three subjects Jamane A. Gantt, Dazzel and Robert King arrived in a tan colored Nissan sedan and stopped in front of a residence on Jackson Street where the victim was standing.
Delaware State Police additionally learned that Dazzel King a rear seat passenger is alleged to have fired a single barreled shotgun from the rear of the car in the direction of the victim. The King brothers and Gantt then exited the Nissan and began chasing the victim. Gantt is also alleged to have brandished a handgun as all three chased the victim.
Later Wednesday evening Delaware State Police apprehended Gantt and charged him with weapons and related crimes. Gantt was remanded to the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on $37,500 secured bond.
Delaware State Police are still searching for Dazzel and Robert King of Frederica and seek the publics help. Callers may remain anonymous.
