Felton/Milford-Delaware State Police Wednesday February 2, 2011 arrested Gary E. Thorpe-49 of Felton Delaware following an investigation into inappropriate sexual contact which occurred between March 2008 and January 2011. 

Delaware State Police learned the incident occurred between Thorpe and a teenage female acquaintance.  During the alleged incidents Thorpe is believed to have committed unlawful and inappropriate sexual acts to the victim. 

After Thorpe was formally charged he was incarcerated in James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on $900,000.00 secured bond.
