TROOPERS INVESTIGATE DAYS INN ARMED ROBBERY


DSP News Release: Troopers Investigate Days Inn Armed Robbery 

 

Location:

·         Days Inn Hotel, 5209 Concord Pike, Wilmington, DE

 

Date of Occurrence:

·         Friday, December 23, 2011 at 9:30 p.m.

 

Victim: 

·         46 year old male employee

 

Suspect: 

·         White male, 25-30 years old, 5’10”-6’0” tall, 200-220 lbs, large build. Last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and blue jeans. Suspect armed with an unknown type handgun.

·         No surveillance photo’s available at this time.

 

Resume:

North Wilmington-Troopers are investigating the armed robbery of the Days Inn Hotel located on Concord Pike which occurred last evening.

 

The incident occurred at approximately 9:30 p.m. last night as a male suspect entered the Days Inn Hotel and confronted the 46 year old male clerk located at the front desk.  The suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money.  The clerk complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction. There were no injuries as a result of this incident.
