DSP News Release: Surveillance Photo’s Released of Suspect in Maryland Avenue Armed Robbery
Location: · Metro PCS/Loans Till Payday, 101 North Maryland Avenue (Richardson Park), Wilmington, DE
Date of Occurrence: · Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at 1:40 p.m.
Victims: · 22 year old male employee · 32 year old male employee · 40 year old female employee
Suspects: (2 surveillance photos attached)
Resume: Richardson Park-Troopers have released surveillance photos of a suspect in an armed robbery of the Metro PCS/Loans Till Payday business located on Maryland Avenue.
The incident occurred at approximately 1:40 p.m. as two males suspects entered the Metro PCS Loans Till Payday business, one armed with a handgun, and the other with a shotgun. The suspects confronted the three employees and demanded money. The employees complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspects fled the business on foot eastbound on Maryland Avenue. There were no injuries as a result of this incident.
