TWENTY ONE YEAR OLD MAN CHARGED IN CHESWOLD ROBBERY

DSP News Release: 21 Year Old Man Charged in Cheswold Robbery

Resume: Dover-Delaware State Police Detectives have arrested Kenny’aun J. Baldwin-21 of Dover, DE in connection with the robbery of the Cheswold Shore Stop that occurred on Monday, November 28, 2011.
This incident happened at approximately 12:30 a.m. on Monday, November 28, 2011 as a31 year old employee of the Shore Stop, located in the 700 block of Main Street in Cheswold, and two other men were standing outside of the store. The subjects were then approached by a male suspect who was armed with a rifle. The suspect then ordered all three victims into the store at which point he demanded cash from two of the victims. After obtaining money from one of the two victims, he then ordered the employee to provide him with money from the safe and cash register. The employee complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash to the suspect. The suspect then fled from the store in an unknown direction. There were no injuries.
Through further investigation and investigative leads, Troop 3 Detectives were able to connect Kenny’aun J. Baldwin-21 of Dover to the robbery.
Baldwin was located and arrested on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 by Troop 3 Detectives and charged with the above crimes. He was arraigned and committed to JTVVV on $35,000 Secured Bond.

DSP News Release: Troopers Investigate Cheswold Robbery

Victims:
Suspect: Black male, 5’5”-5’07” tall. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black hooded sweatshirt, gray pants, tan boots, blue and gray gloves, and a blue bandana covering his face. He was also armed with a rifle.
Resume: Cheswold, DE- The Delaware State Police are currently investigating the robbery of a Cheswold convenience store that occurred early yesterday morning.
