DSP News Release: Troopers Investigate Pizza Shop Robbery

Location: Fox Run Pizza, 200 East Atlantic Avenue, Millville, DE

Date of Occurrence:  Monday, December 19, 2011 at 7:00 p.m.

Suspect:  

• Black male, 20-30 years of age, 5’06”-5’08” tall, 160-170 lbs
• He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a dark brown jacket, and a tan ski mask
• He was also armed with a black handgun
• Video surveillance is not available at this time.

Victim:

• 20 year old male employee

Millville, DE- The Delaware State Police are currently investigating the robbery of a Millville pizza shop that occurred last night.

The incident happened at approximately 7:00 p.m. on Monday as a male suspect entered the Fox Run Pizza Shop located in the 200 block of E. Atlantic Avenue in Millville. The suspect, who was armed with a handgun, approached the 20 year old male employee and demanded money from the cash register. The male victim complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash to the suspect. The suspect then exited the back door of the pizza shop and fled in an unknown direction. The victim was not injured.

The Delaware State Police are asking anyone who may have any information in reference to this incident to contact the Robbery Unit at Troop 4 at 302-856-5850.
