DSP News Release: Troopers Probe Camden Home Invasion Robbery

 

Location: Residence in the 400 block of Tobacco Road, Camden, DE

 

Date of Occurrence:  Friday, December 16, 2011, at 11:10 p.m.

 

Victims: 

 

à        52 year old male resident

 

Suspects:    

 

à        Three black males with black hooded sweatshirts, armed with handguns (no further description)

à        One Hispanic male wearing all black, unarmed (no further description)

Camden, DE- Delaware State Police detectives are currently investigating a home invasion style robbery that occurred yesterday evening in Camden, DE.

 

The incident occurred at approximately 11:10 p.m. on Friday, December 16, as four male subjects entered through an unlocked door of a residence located in the 400 block of Tobacco Road in Camden. Three of the subjects, who were armed with handguns, then confronted the male resident of the home. The suspects then removed and undisclosed amount of money and a cell phone from the victim before fleeing in an unknown direction. The 52 year old male resident was slightly injured after he engaged in a physical altercation with one of the suspects. He refused treatment.

 

Detectives are asking anyone who may have any information in reference to this incident to contact Delaware State Police Troop #3 at 302-697-4454 ext 0.
