DSP News Release: Troopers Investigate M&T Bank Robbery
Location: · M&T Bank, 1812 Marsh Road (Branmar Plaza Shopping Center), Wilmington, DE
Date of Occurrence: · Friday, December 16, 2011 at 10:15 a.m.
Victim: · 34 year old female bank employee
Suspect: · Black female, 50-60 years old, 5’06”-5’07” tall, 130-140 lbs. Last seen wearing a dark gray coat, blue jeans, and a dark gray knit cap, possibly wearing a black wig. · Surveillance photo’s attached
Resume: Wilmington-Delaware State Police Robbery Detectives are investigating the robbery of the M&T Bank located on Marsh Road which occurred this morning.
The incident occurred at approximately 10:15 a.m. as a female suspect entered the M&T Bank located in the Branmar Plaza Shopping Center. The suspect approached the bank teller and presented a demand note for money. The teller complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect fled the bank on foot in an unknown direction. There were no injuries as a result of this incident.
