DSP News Release: Troopers Investigate Metro PCS Armed Robbery 

Location:

·         3403 Lancaster Pike (Cannery Shopping Center), Wilmington, DE

Date of Occurrence:  

·         Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at 7:00 p.m.

Victim:

·         20 year old male employee

Suspect:

·         Black male, unknown age, 5’10” tall, 165-175 lbs, thin build. Last seen wearing black jacket with dark hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans, and dark ski mask covering face. Suspect armed with an unknown type handgun.

·         No surveillance photo’s available at this time.

Resume:

Wilmington-Troopers are investigating the armed robbery of the Metro PCS store located in the Cannery Shopping Center that occurred last evening.

The incident occurred at approximately 7:00 p.m. last night as a male suspect entered the Metro PCS store. The suspect approached the 20 year old male victim, pointed a handgun at him and demanded money. The victim complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect fled from the store on foot
