Resume

Dover, DE- Delaware State Police detectives have arrested a 17 year old teen in connection with the robbery and unlawful sexual contact of a 32 year old female in the General’s Greene development of Dover early yesterday morning.

The incident occurred at approximately 12:15 a.m. on Tuesday, December 13th after a 32 year old female victim heard someone knocking at the front door of her residence located in the 200 block of Chenault Court in Generals Greene.  As the victim answered the door, she observed a male subject standing outside. The subject then asked the victim if another male subject was currently home. After the victim advised him that the person he had asked for was not home, the subject asked the victim if she recognized him and if she was married. The victim then closed and locked the door and went to bed.

Approximately 30 minutes later the same subject who had knocked on the victim’s front door appeared in her bedroom armed with a large butcher style knife. The suspect then threatened the victim and demanded that she turn over property to him. After the victim informed the suspect that her purse was on the first floor, the suspect then ordered the victim to remove her clothing and then approached the victim’s bed, pulled the covers off of her, and touched her in an inappropriate manner. The victim, screamed however, which caused the suspect to run from the home, but not before stealing the victim’s cellular phone. The victim then ran to a neighbor’s house where she called the 9-1-1 call center.

As the victim and the neighbor awaited the arrival of the responding officers, the neighbor, after hearing what had occurred, provided the name of Quinnell L. Krider as a possible suspect. After further investigation by the responding troopers, the victim was able to positively identify Krider as the suspect in the incident. Krider, who also resides in the 200 block of Chenault Court, was then taken into custody at his home without incident. A subsequent search of his residence revealed evidence linking him to the crime.

Quinnell L. Krider was arrested and charged with the above list of crimes. He was then arraigned at the Kent County Family Court and committed to the Department of Corrections after failing to post $105,000.00 cash bail.  The victim was not injured.
