DSP News Release: Troopers Investigate Magnolia Robbery

 

Location: Residence in the 200 block of Lambert Drive, Magnolia, DE

 

Date of Occurrence:  Thursday, December 8, 2011 at 3:00 p.m.

 

Suspect:  

 

  • Black female, 20-30 years of age, 5’09” tall, and 200 lbs.

 

Victim:

 

  • 82 year old Magnolia, DE man

Magnolia, DE- The Delaware State Police are currently investigating the robbery of a Magnolia man that occurred Thursday afternoon.

 

The incident happened at approximately 3:00 p.m. on November 8th as the 82 year old victim had arrived at his residence located in the 200 block of Lambert Drive. As the victim was opening his front door, he was approached from behind by a black female suspect who grabbed him and knocked him to the ground. The suspect then removed money and other personal items from the victim’s clothing and fled on foot. The victim suffered minor injuries but refused medical treatment.

 

The Delaware State Police are asking anyone who may have any information in reference to this incident to contact Troop 3 at 302-697-4454.
