TROOPERS CONDUCTING DEATH INVESTIGATION

DSP News Release: Troopers Conducting Death Investigation
Location: · 6000 block of Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE
Date of Occurrence: · Thursday, December 8, 2011 at 5:40 a.m.
Victim: · Unidentified black male approximately 70-75 years of age. Fully clothed in dark clothing.
Resume: Wilmington-The Delaware State Police are conducting a death investigation at the entrance of the All Saints Cemetery located in the 6000 block of Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington.
The incident occurred at approximately 5:40 a.m. this morning as a passerby located the body of an unidentified black male, approximately 70-75 years of age. The body was found in the grassy area along the Kirkwood Highway, just east of the main entrance to the All Saints Cemetery.
Delaware State Police Detectives continue their investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding this incident.
The body has been removed from the scene and turned over to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.
