DSP News Release: Troopers Investigate Wells Fargo Bank Robbery, Fairfax
Location: · Wells Fargo Bank, 2011 Concord Pike (Fairfax Shopping Center), Wilmington, DE
Date of Occurrence: · Monday, December 5, 2011 at 10:45 a.m.
Victim: · 33 year old female employee
Suspect: · Black male, 40-50 years of age, 5’08”-5’10” tall, 160 lbs, thin build. Last seen wearing blue jacket with tan trim and tan hat. · Surveillance photo’s attached
Resume: North Wilmington-Delaware State Police Robbery Detectives are investigating the robbery of the Wells Fargo Bank located in the Fairfax Shopping Center earlier today.
The incident occurred at approximately 10:45 a.m. as a male suspect entered the Wells Fargo Bank located on Concord Pike. The suspect approached the bank teller and presented a demand note for money. The teller complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash to the suspect. The suspect fled on foot through the parking lot.
